2021 Event Location

The bit that you have been waiting for! We are excited to announce that the event centre will be at Glentunnel Domain off Glentunnel Domain Road. 

For those arriving for one of the later events (4 and 8 Hour) please take extra care as there will be runners and cyclist crossing the road in places and using the driveway as you are heading in to the event. Likewise if you choose to leave before the final prizegiving take care as there may be runners and cyclists around.

Accomodation Options

Glentunnel Holiday Park - Cabins and powered/unpowered sites available (<5min drive to event)

Mt Hutt Lodge - Motel and self-contained 1 bedroom units available (~20mins drive to event)

Quartz Hill Station - Mixture of bunk rooms and huts, sleeps up to 22 people (~20mins drive to event)

Benlea Cottage - 6 person self-contained cottage (~15mins drive to event)

Darfield Motel - A variety of rooms and units available (~10min drive to event)

Darfield Hotel -  Six ensuited rooms and two backpacker rooms available (~10min drive to event)

For teams in the 12 hour we strongly encourage you to book one of the options above due to the early start of the event. For teams in the 4 and 8 hour accommodation options on the Western side of Christchurch in places such as Rolleston, Hornby, and Prebbleton could also be considered.
