Nelson Spring Rogaine Series
The first series takes us into Nelson, Richmond, and up the Aniseed Valley.
Wednesday 14th October - Koata Park (2hr)
Wednesday 21st October - Easby/Richmond Hills (2hr)
Sunday 8th November - Aniseed Valley (3hr)
Event Timing
Events take place on a Wednesday evening afterwork with the following schedule:
• 4:30pm – Registration Opens
• 5-7pm – Start Window
• 7-9pm – Finish Window
Due to forestry constraints the series finale will take place on a Sunday with the following schedule:
• 9:30am – Registration Opens
• 10-11am – Start Window
• 1-2pm – Finish Window
• 2:30pm – Prizegiving
Team Size
You must be in a team of at least two people for this event.
Timing and Scoring
The clock will start at the beginning of the race. Your team will record their visit to each checkpoint. If you decide to rest at a checkpoint, the clock doesn’t stop.
Prizes
Prizes will be given to the series winners in each category. Thanks to our generous sponsors we will have a fantastic array of spot prizes that everyone will go into the draw to win.
Spectators
Friends and family are welcome to come along to the event to cheer you on and take photos. For safety reasons supporters should not venture on course without checking with the organisers first.

*Adverse weather conditions includes heavy rain or cold weather that increases the risk to participants, this will be clearly communicated prior to the event if required.
For comfort reasons you may like to take more layers than required, along with some food/water however this is not mandatory. Carrying a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is encouraged but not required.
Gear Check
Your team may be asked to complete a gear check before or during the event, if you don’t have an item your team may be penalised or disqualified.
It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that their equipment is in good condition. However, the event organisers reserve the right to prevent participants from starting if they feel that they pose a risk to themselves or others.
