Event Timing
The race is on the 2nd of March, registration will open at 8am and there will be a mass start at 9am for the 6 Hour and 10am for the 3 Hour.
Team Size
You must be in a team of at least two people for this event.
Timing and Scoring
The clock will start at the beginning of the race. Your team will record their visit to each checkpoint. If you decide to rest at a checkpoint, the clock doesn’t stop.
Post Race Meal
A post-race meal is included for all competitors. We'll have a team of volunteers ready to serve you a burger and drink while you're waiting for the prizegiving. There will also be food available to purchase, cash only.

3hr Winner
1x Family entry to Opuke Discovery Pools from Opuke Thermal Pools & Spa, 1x First timer ski package at Mt Hutt, and a $100 voucher for The Green Parrot Bar and Grill.
3hr Second Place
1x Recovery package at Flow Pool and Studio, $100 voucher for The Green Parrot Bar and Grill, and a $250 voucher to spend at Big Al's Methven Snow and Bike.
6hr Winner
$100 voucher for The Green Parrot Bar and Grill, 2x yoga and 2x massages with Nourish - Lauren Wilding, 1x consult with Cushla Holdaway - Registered and Practicing Dietician.

Spectators
Friends and family are welcome to come along to the event to cheer you on and take photos. For safety reasons supporters should not venture on course without checking with the organisers first.

Carrying a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is encouraged but not required.
Gear Check
Your team may be asked to complete a gear check before or during the event, if you don’t have an item a penalty will be given to your team.
It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that their equipment is in good condition. However, the event organisers reserve the right to prevent participants from starting if they feel that the condition of their equipment poses a risk to themselves or others.
